The Lindelbrunn castle can be easily reached from Darstein in an hour on foot;

below the castle there is a wonderful beer garden with good food and games for children.

About Vorderweidenthal you can reach the parking place lot below the castle by car.

Lindelbrunn

Probably built mid 12th century Reichsburg Lindelbrunn still has numerous remains of walls. These include the housing and also the Palas. The very vast plateau of the upper castle invites you to linger. A beautiful view in all directions is guaranteed. In the Peasants' War of 1525 it was burned down and has since also no longer inhabited.
